Join the National WWII Museum and Xavier University as we welcome filmmaker Gregory Cooke or a screening of Invisible Warriors: African American Women in World War II.

The film is an unforgettable conversation that explores the social, economic, and political influences of Black “Rosie the Riveters.” These 600,000 “hidden figures” courageously triumph over racism and sexism to help win the war and create job opportunities in industry and government for themselves and future generations of African American women. These patriotic pioneers share their wartime memories, recounting their battles against racism at home, Nazism abroad, and sexism everywhere. A Q&A with the filmmaker to immediately follow the screening.

This program is a partnership between the National WWII Museum and Xavier University.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
